Research fellowship for a neo-graduate in Medical Biotechnology/Biomedical Engineering/similar fields.
The candidate will join the transdisciplinary “In-Vitro Models” group and participate in projects and activities related to the development of innovative technologies for the reduction, refinement and replacement of animal tests.
Although previous experience is not required, after a short training period, the candidate will be expected to handle fluidic cell cultures, fabricate 3D scaffolds, using confocal and fluorescent microscopes and help manage a cell culture, microfabrication and imaging laboratory. The fellowship will initially be for 3 months (a training and trial period), extendable to 2 or 3 years.
Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree
Willingness to work in a laboratory environment and with cell cultures
Aptitude for analytical precision and micromanipulation
Computer literacy (ECDL)
